Unfortunately the Santa Maria Manuela is having technical difficulties and is therefore unable to come to Greenwich during the Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta.

The Santa Maria Manuela had a chain in her propeller and the shaft was damaged. There is no possibility to repair the shaft within a couple of days. She is currently in Cuxhaven, Germany, where she will probably be moved into a dry dock to be repaired.
