Dear residents around Greenland Dock,

I would like to inform you about our decision regarding the temporary moorings in Greenland Dock:

We took the decision today to accept the decision of the planning committee on our plans for 225 temporary moorings and not to appeal or submit a revised planning application. Our goal was to bring some Olympic spirit and some benefit to the Rotherhithe community but we can only accept here and now that this is not appreciated by the majority of the local residents.

We continue working on the event ‘Sail Royal Greenwich 2012’. From 25 July – 13 August 2012, 18 Tall Ships from all over the world will return to the Thames for cruises twice a day. For more information: www.sailroyalgreenwich.co.uk
